Alvin Jones, age 35 and single, has been a maintenance man for six years at Armstead Arms. He works for a major management company where he’s seen repair men come and go at the company because of sexual relationships with the tenants. His personal code of conduct has always been "Don't Mess with the Tenants".
After his 35th birthday party, Alvin experiences a mid-life crisis. He's lonely, sexually frustrated, and hasn't had a serious relationship for years. Al begins to feel like he's been on a diet, looking at lots of female food, but tasting none of them. Even though his company frowns on staff fraternizing with tenants, Alvin Jones starts to graze in the field of tenants at the property where he works. What happens changes his life forever.
Carolyn's debut novel is a story about a man who is tempted one time too many by the tenants among whom he has to work every day. When he finally snaps from the sexual pressure and exposure to young, beautiful, lonely and voluptuous women, he opens a door that he finds he can never close again.
